The challenge

The solution
We built a set of n8n workflows — hosted on a self-managed instance for full data sovereignty — that fire a WhatsApp reminder 48 h before each appointment, a follow-up SMS 2 h before, and a post-visit survey link 1 h after discharge. A separate n8n branch watches a Supabase table of chronic patients and triggers a follow-up message if no visit is recorded within the prescribed interval. Insurance pre-auth documents are collected via a WhatsApp form flow and stored in Supabase, reducing the back-and-forth with insurers.
