Overview

Bilingual EN/AR Sharia-compliant portfolio advisor grounded in CMAs guidelines, live sukuk yields, and halal equity screener. Average onboarding time drops from 40 minutes to 7 minutes; AUM per advisor grows 2.8×.

The challenge

Wahed's advisors were spending over 40 minutes per new-client onboarding call collecting risk-tolerance answers, explaining Sharia-screening methodology, and manually looking up current sukuk yields from Reuters. This limited each advisor to 4–5 new clients per week, creating a growth ceiling. Clients with basic questions — 'Is this ETF halal?', 'What is the current profit rate on the sukuk?' — were consuming advisory time that should have been reserved for complex planning.


The solution

Our approach

Lirevon built a pre-onboarding chatbot that guides prospects through a 10-question risk-profiling sequence in Arabic or English, produces a risk-tier classification, and pre-populates the advisor's CRM before the first call. A live sukuk and halal equity screener module — grounded on Kuwait CMA data and a curated Sharia-board fatwa corpus — allows clients to self-verify compliance before speaking to an advisor.

Client onboarding time fell from 40 minutes to 7 minutes, freeing 33 advisory minutes per new client

AUM managed per advisor grew 2.8× within the first quarter as advisors onboarded more clients per week
