Overview

A white-label booking SaaS for Gulf beauty salons, built on self-hosted Cal.com for scheduling and Supabase for multi-tenant data isolation. Salon owners get a branded subdomain, Arabic-first booking pages, and automated reminder workflows via WhatsApp. The platform launched with 34 salon tenants in the UAE; average monthly bookings per salon rose 2.4×.

The challenge

Individual Gulf salons could not afford custom booking systems and were losing up to 26% of appointments to no-shows with WhatsApp-only booking. A SaaS approach needed tenant isolation (one salon must never see another's data), branded subdomains, and an Arabic-first UX since the majority of both salon owners and clients are Arabic speakers.


The solution

Our approach

We built the platform on self-hosted Cal.com for proven scheduling logic and Supabase for RLS-enforced tenant isolation. Each salon is provisioned with a Supabase organisation-scoped schema and a Cal.com sub-team, linked by a shared tenant_id. Stripe Connect onboards salon owners and routes booking payments with automatic platform-fee splits. An n8n workflow fires bilingual WhatsApp reminders at 24h and 2h before each appointment, with a one-tap reschedule link.
